RING SIZE GUIDE
Choosing the perfect ring begins with finding the right fit. At Sananda Jewellers & Diamond, we want your ring to feel comfortable, secure, and truly yours. Use this easy guide to measure your ring size accurately from home.
Why Ring Size Matters
A well-fitted ring should slide over your knuckle with ease and sit comfortably on your finger without feeling tight or loose. Temperature, time of day, and even hydration can affect your finger size, so proper measurement is important—especially for engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom-made pieces.
How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Method 1: Use an Existing Ring
If you already wear a ring that fits well:
- Choose a ring that fits the same finger you plan to measure.
- Place the ring on a ruler and measure the inner diameter in millimeters.
Method 2: Use Paper or String
If you don’t have a ring:
- Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of non-stretchable string.
- Wrap it around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the ends meet.
- Measure the length (circumference) in millimeters.
- Compare the measurement with the sizing chart.

Helpful Tips for Accurate Sizing
- Measure your finger multiple times to ensure consistency.
- Avoid measuring when your fingers are cold, as they may appear smaller.
- Consider ring width: wider bands may require a slightly larger size.
- If you’re unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one for comfort.
